9 August 2026 — polylines, inquiry, and the opening view
- 01 PLINE draws a connected run as one object — on the
Kkey or from the command bar. Segments can be straight or curved, the run offsets and saves as a single entity, and it survives the round trip to DXF and PDF. - 02 DIST and ID now measure and report from the command bar. Points are typed at the prompt rather than picked on canvas.
- 03 A drawing opens on your positive quadrant. The origin used to sit at the top-left of a fresh view, so a typed coordinate with a positive Y landed above the top edge of the screen and nothing appeared to happen. New and Open now frame what you opened.
- 04 Object snap reaches a curved polyline segment. CENTER acquires the centre of a filleted corner; TANGENT no longer offers a point on the part of the circle the polyline does not draw.
- 05 A file this build cannot open now says why. Previously the picker simply closed.
- 06 Unsaved work survives a browser reload through a recovery journal that is actually written — the previous one silently stored nothing on every browser.
